Jose Garcia, Drum maker (Santamarias Cuban Style Conga), aficionado of AfroCuban music and dance, & CEO of Orisha Productions videotapes live on location the best Cuban folklorico music available. Much will be of the best known groups in Cuba. There is a world of true Afrocuban music that to date has been exposed to only a few lucky people. Our goal is to video tape the great wealth of Cuban Rumba and music of the Santos and make it available to everyone that is curious or are aficionados of this great music.

About the video

Los Papines need no introduction. They have been Cuba's foremost rumba group for four decades. The have traveled extensively through out the United States and other Countries. Their brand of rumba is exciting and spontanous. While always experimenting musically they manage to maintain thier tradition of providing authentic rumba. Alfredo Abreu, one of the four brothers recently passed away. This video, titled: rumba Na'Mas features all of the brothers in concert.

	Los Muñequitos de Matanzas performing: Baila Rumbero, has become the premier rumba group of Cuba. They tour colleges throughout the United State's doing workshops and performing in concert. They are constantly evolving. The younger family members are already accomplished singers and dancers waiting to take their turn in this famliy tradition.

	This video replaces the first Yoruba Andabo titled Rumba. The first was taped under less tha desirable conditions. Still it remains of our hottest sellers. This video titled: Lo Mejor de Yoruba Andabo features a tune titled Protesta Carabali which features "chan, one of the finest singers in Habana along with Chapotin.

	Los Muñequitos de Matanzas have grown in popularity that is beginning to rival that of the, Buena Vista Social Club. And well deserved. Celebating fifty years of being together as an extended family and musical group has garnered them the respect amongst music lovers everywhere.
	RUMBA TAQUECHEL £4.99
	Familia Taquechel is the same as Grupo Ita Oromi. The Familia taquechel is from La Lisa, a suburb of Cuidad la Habana. This is their second adventure with Orisha Productions and they have developed a following. They have been described with such adjectives as, raw, firey, and exciting. They are normally religous drummers playing for ceramonies. Emilio, pictured above is the leader. They have their first CD titled, Rumba Taquechel, thus the name of this video.
