This CD, recorded in Madrid, is a project that Isaac undertook with great care and which took many months of preparation. He tried to cover the Cuban roots, to keep constancy of the former `Filin` that he used to sing with his elder relatives, to play the new Timba mixed with the Cuban Salsa and to include some concession about Pop. Isaac`s capacity to modulate his voice is simply astonishing. When performing as a guest at the Salsa Festival at Madison Square Garden, Pete Watrouss wrote in the New York Times the following: `... Mr. Delgado was rhythmically imperturbable and when he sang facing percussion, his voice never hesitated, it was concrete, strong and confident of its position... it was the Cuban way for blues`.
